We are trying to fit in all of our PA favorites before we move! A couple of week ago, we headed an hour or so west to Pennsylvania Amish country. We've been there a handful of times and are in love with the area. The pictures don't do a justice, but it is soooo beautiful! This time we started with strawberry picking at Shenk's Berry Farm in Lititz, PA. The strawberries were perfectly ripe and very delicious. We ended up picking enough for two batches of strawberry jam and a few quarts to just eat -- we polished those off quickly! After strawberry picking, we went into Lancaster for lunch at one of our all time favorite asian restaurants that serves both ramen and pho. Finally, we wrapped up the day with a drive to Lapp Valley Farm in New Holland, PA where we enjoyed some homemade ice cream. It was the perfect day!

We're Moving!!!
I'll start this post with some big news........ we're moving!!! .....to Austin, Texas!! It still feels weird to say that. We're doing another relo for my job at General Mills and George will be able to transfer with his company. While I never really pictured myself as a Texan, we're excited for the opportunity and adventure! The four of us went out to Austin last weekend and found an apartment in North Austin, about 15 minutes from downtown. It'll be a smaller place, a 2 bedroom apartment, but we've become used to and OK with tighter accommodations. The move will be at the end of July just after our trip to Canada, which I'm realizing is very quickly approaching! General Mills takes care of all of the packing and moving so fortunately we don't have any "heavy lifting" to do, but I still feel uneasy about some of the logistics. I keep reminding myself that everything will come together and work out like it did with our last move.
In the meantime, we're soaking in our last weeks here on the east coast. We've truly enjoyed our past two years in PA and have gained a lifetime of memories that we will always cherish. Needless to say, it'll be very hard to say goodbye.
I'm glad that we were able to get up to Rochester one last time before the move. Madeline and Luke had such a blast playing with their New York cousins. It made us even more excited for a week of fun in Canada with them and everyone from AZ! :)
Hope y'all have a nice night! (Gotta get used to saying that)
