By now, you all know the drill. My Thanksgiving posts are always followed by a Beaver Creek ski trip post. The trip is always the week following Thanksgiving, which was early this year. We expected minimal snow and not great skiing, but we actually hit the jackpot and there was plenty of snow and great conditions! This year the crew was my parents, Brian, Terrisa, Paisley, Parker, Emily, Emily's best friend, Lauren, Hannah, Jeremiah, Katie, Caleb, and the four of us. Preston stayed home with Terrisa's mom.
Packing for this trip is an undertaking with all of the gear.
George hitting the slopes the first morning.
Caleb and Paisley are basically professional skiers at this point. They're seriously so good!!
Here's a cheat sheet for whose who in the pictures below:
George: green pants
Heather: white pants, grey jacket
Katie: pink jacket
Jeremiah: blue jacket
Hannah: white helmet
Brian: olive jacket, black pants
Dad: blue and red
Paisley: plaid jacket
Caleb: grey jacket, dark pants
Madeline and Parker did a full day lesson together. Not sure if Madeline was a fan or not, but we'll just continue to make a little bit of progress each year. I think it'll get easier as she gets bigger and stronger.
The kids had an epic snowball fight one of the afternoons. I was on the receiving end of most of the snowballs!
It amazes me that Luke survived in Pennsylvania for 2 years. He's developed a hatred for any clothing that is meant to keep him warm.

Madeline looked like a baby deer learning to walk on the ice rink
Time for some family pictures!
This trip is the best because we get to spend quality time together as a family without the distractions of day-to-day life. A highlight for me is always the last night when we do a family game night. Lots of competitiveness and lots of laughs!
